Impression Works LLC is an American multinational technology company headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and was founded by Travis Broussard in 2011. Since it’s inception Impression Works has developed and launched successful desktop and mobile applications that are making a positive impact on an array of industries while leaving a lasting impression on users worldwide. The Impression Works team is passionate about bringing cause related ideas to life using technology.
They have successfully developed and launched software and programs that are making a difference in the world and producing revenue for the company. Our main aim is to create great tools that empower users. Impression Works started out at the Louisiana Business and Technology Center (LBTC) with only two employees. There they incubated an idea to help streamline the job application process and have since graduated from the LBTC incubator and moved into their corporate offices.
The company now has six full time employees operating from the Technology Park. Impression Works launched a new product in 2014 that merged two multi-billion-dollar industries and created a photo merchandise fundraising program. Since this is a new international product launch the company joined the Louisiana Technology Park to gain all the benefits of another great Louisiana based business incubator.
In 2014 Impression Works finalized an acquisition of Personera, a technology company in Cape Town, South Africa and together they started working on MEMO.
With this acquisition and partnership with 4Di Capital, Impression Works now operates an office in Cape Town with 10 team members made up of senior executives, software developers, engineers, and graphic designers. Plans to relocate all of these talented and vital team members from Cape Town to Baton Rouge is being expedited by the rapid demand of the MEMO product line. The staff members at the Tech Park are already playing a vital role in the transfer of these key people. With Louisiana’s exciting technology startup culture along with great digital media tax credits, Impression Works plans to grow its US based team from 10 to 175 over the next 3 years.
